In 2013, Australian New York City resident Yael Stone was the inmate playing "Lorna" Morello in Orange Is the New Black. Yael graduated from NIDA. Yael's first job has given her to meet and work with some of Australia's best storytellers. Yael has a successful career working in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael discovered her new place of residence within New York City when the production premiered to acclaim in BAM. Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Yael is co-founder the company The Cannery. The Cannery promotes creative writing, and creative endeavors from its Bushwick studio.
